Intentions for 2017

Why hello there. Welcome back to my supremely crappy blog that I have been terrible at keeping up with and updating over the past few months! I thought I was finally ready to come back but after taking a little more  time off for my own sanity- I'm finally back! (This time fo real, I promise).

You are well aware by now that I am not a fan of New Year's Resolutions, so instead of making my first post of 2017 predictable, (and frankly a little boring) I thought I could spice it up a little and share a little chunk of wisdom that I have come across recently that has really resonated with me.

We often like to use the New Year as an excuse to start fresh and while this theory and frame of mind does work for some people to help get their goals on track, just remember that you don't need to wait until a certain time of year to make a positive change to your life!

While some of us are cleaning the metaphorical cobwebs of our life, it's also important to take inventory of the people we surround ourselves with and even look in to see how we can be better people and friends while we set our intentions for the coming year.

  4. Welcome back, lovely. And your blog is not crappy :) It's not easy to keep up sometimes, especially when life happens. And yes, we can change things ANY day, not just from Jan 1st :)

  7. Great quote! I am not a big fan of new years resolutions either. I much prefer calling them goals. Welcome back and cheers to 2017! ;)

  8. I like new years' resolutions and always make far too many, but you're right, you don't need to wait for a specific time of year to try and achieve your goals! <3 Thanks for sharing, lovely. :) xoxo

  10. Decluttering is SO important, and you're totally right, sometimes we forget that also applies to people in our lives who don't value our time. I hope 2017 is a fabulous year for you Angelique!!

  11. Great post - I did do a classic new year post but mine, like yours, is a bit more about how you can make a positive change at any time!
