May Favourites

Where has the time gone? I feel like I ask myself this question almost too often that it doesn't actually feel like it's only every month. The last week of May is passing us quickly and with that in mind, I thought it was about that time of month where I talk about some of the products and things I have been absolutely loving. This month includes sadly only two beauty products, but far more lifestyle bits, including some apps that have really been helping to keep me on track with life and learning. Find out more...

Yes, you read that right, I'm learning German! As one of my 2016 'goals' (resolutions was so 2015) was to begin to learn the German language, I thought that the beginning of May called for me to crack on with my learning as I had been a bit... slack.  I had looked into taking up some classes but I wanted to get a better feel for the language before doing so and thus, I stumbled across the DuoLingo App! With this app you can learn grammar, pronouns and common phrases as well as being able to test yourself and practise weak skills. I'm finding it challenging to wrap my head around the pronunciations of some words (a.k.a. lots of hacking and throaty sounds) but I'm really enjoying it so far. If you're on DuoLingo too, add me as a friend (anjeliquetv) so we can check out each other's progress!

What are some of the products/ items that you have been loving this past month?
Have you undertaken any of your New Year's Resolutions this month too?

  5. I took German lessons when I was 19 thinking I was going to move to Europe lol. It was actually surprisingly easy to learn. Pronunciation wasn't the best, something I learned from two German backpackers who I used to work with. :o|

  9. I am trying to learn German too, well I should do that since I'm married to a German! My favourite app/webpage has to be babbel, you only pay a little amount and it is actually really good. I don't know when was the last time I used duolingo, thanks for reminding :) x
