Makeup Geek 'Havoc' Duochrome Tutorial

If you haven't been living under a rock for the last few years, I'm sure you would have heard the words 'Makeup Geek' whispered amongst beauty bloggers and vloggers everywhere. Well known for their buttery, pigmented eyeshadows that claim to be 'better than MAC', I have been itching to try out these affordable eyeshadow pans which come in an assortment of colours and finishes.

Let's just say I have the best brother in the world, because after some hinting (and by hinting I mean sending a list of every shade I wanted along with a link to the website where he could purchase them) I received some of these eyeshadow pans for Christmas! Since then, I may have made another order but I just can't help it, these eyeshadows are just that good, especially for the price!

I have been playing around with some of the pressed duochrome pigments recently and I love the effect it has on the eye- it's just so mesmerising. The two which feature in my tutorial today are 'Havoc', a brown based eyeshadow with aquamarine and green glittery pigments and 'Steampunk' which is a black based shadow with blue and brown reflective pigments. You just have to witness these colours for yourself- they are insanely hypnotising!

  14. You look so beautiful, I think applying eyeshadow is definitely my weakness but you do it so easily. Your natural lip colour is so beautiful, I thought you already had lipstick on at the start of the tutorial haha!

  15. The way you contoured your cheeks is absolutely lovely! I recently gave up contouring because I felt like it didn't fit my personal beauty routine but I think it's great on you
