Tea for your Bath?

I love to enjoy a nice cup of tea from time to time and I am a huge fan of drinking a warm mug of my  favourite herbal 'sleepy-time' tea right before bed to wind me down for the evening.

What I had never imaged however, was dipping a tea bag into my bath! Thinking about it, it honestly doesn't sounds so crazy- as long as you imagine your bath to be one giant tea cup, I think you'll get along with the idea just fine...

I was very kindly invited along to the Zofori Elixer Skincare Launch a few weeks ago and we were each given a goodie bag which included this Bath Tub Tea* and as a bath fanatic, you can probably already guess I was anxious to give it a go as soon as I got home!

"Herb baths have been used for centuries for healing and relaxation. Your skin readily absorbs the healing & therapeutic properties of Ambrosia in a hot bath. Inhaling the healing aromas from your herb bath is also beneficial.
Immersing your body into a hot bath with Ambrosia Bath Tub Tea has many benefits on both your mind and body. It can calm the mind, lift the spirits, reduce stress & anxiety, relax sore muscles, increases circulation and promote mental clarity. At the same time Ambrosia can revitalise your energy and memory. Ambrosia is a unique blend of the finest Cretan botanicals with relaxing & rejuvenating & remedial properties."

All you need to do is draw your bath, and while the water is hot and filling the tub, drop this tea bag in and hop in to enjoy and relax.

I love the idea of a tea bag to use in your bath, especially since the ingredients used in this product are so natural and of course- cruelty free! Supporting new brands and companies, like Zofori, that not only use organic and natural products but also support going cruelty free and not testing on animals is super important to me and I definitely think they are a company worth checking out, especially if they're the kind of ethics you are into.

Have you ever wondered about using a tea for your bath? Is this something you might like to try?
