Mini Sephora Australia Haul

Ever since I first got into watching beauty gurus on YouTube, I have not stopped hearing about the coveted 'Sephora' store. If anyone here watched American beauty gurus back in 2010, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. The black and white stripes soon became an obsession and a need I had to fulfill.

Now here's where living over in good ol' Australia definitely has it's downs. It takes approximately 2345018 years for trends to catch on and brands to even think about shipping here before anything exciting happens. With the announcement of the first ever Australian Sephora store last year I got my hopes up that my city would be picked to host the flagship store. Alas, Sydney was chosen over Melbourne and this is truly why the rivalry runs deep between these two cities as it's always a battle of which city is 'better'. I'm born and raised in Melbourne and trust me, this rivalry mindset starts young! Eh, you win some you lose some- we were the first city in Australia to get H&M, so I suppose it's only fair.

Without any real need to go to Sydney other than to visit the Sephora store, I decided to patiently wait until a Melbourne store was announced... Thank the makeup gods it launches this month! Also launching this month was the Sephora AU online store and oh my, it's fabulous. They are still adding new brands to the site every day but I was only really interested in one thing, the Sephora Collection.
I decided to purchase a few things (that weren't already sold out) to try out and I'm so excited to actually have these products in my hands.

Ever so popular, I wanted to try out these face masks as they always look so interesting when other people talk about them. I must say, I was not expecting them to actually be this huge! I decided to pick out a few of the ones that appealed to me and those that I thought might work with my skin type. I hope I like at least one of these masks so I can purchase the 10 pack... that would be massive!

After rave reviews, particularly from one of my favourite vloggers, Lily Pebbles- I decided I wanted to test out this Lip Cream. Supposedly it's a comfortable, matte, budge proof opaque stain on the lips and I'm honestly itching to give this a go and see if it lives up to the hype.

Okay, so I totally bought this item because of it's unusual shape, but what's not to love about liquid liner? I am curious as to what the staying power is with this one and whether the shape actually helps you when lining your eyes. Stay tuned!

Now onto some recommendations on what I should purchase next from Sephora. What are some of your favourites/ essentials that you always go in a buy?

My Aussie babes, have you jumped onto the Sephora AU site yet?

  1. I'm glad to see Sephora's online store up and running, but it took them waaay too long! I don't know what they're dealing with but it's definitely been messy! Overall not the hugest fan of Sephora au but I am planning on making an order sometime haha. The matte lipcreams are out of stock right now which sucks because I really want to try them!

  5. I have the lip cream in shade Blackberry Sorbet and its STUNNING! It's not completely budge proof but it's one of the most comfortable liquid lipstick that I've tried.
