What's on my Nightstand?

Don't let me fool you into a illusion that  everything is rainbows and smiles when it comes to my beauty regime. I'll admit, sometimes sticking to a routine can be a bit difficult, life does get in the way and other times you really just can't be arsed. In a perfect world I would double cleanse, use a daily serum and shave much more often than I actually do.

That being said, there are a few products that I like to keep on my bed side table to ensure I'm at least doing the bare minimum when it comes to my evening routine. Keep on reading to check out 'What's on my Nightstand'!

Here's a couple of the books on my reading list at the moment! I have decided to crack out 'Let it Snow' already as we are nearing Christmas and I love reading holiday themed books in the lead up to December. 'A Discovery of Witches' was actually a recommendation from a friend that I have just recently gotten back into, I'll let you know what I think of it!

Deep Sleep Pillow Spray - ThisWorks

I sometimes have trouble sleeping and I find my best remedy for this is just to douse myself in essential oils. I love using this Deep Sleep Pillow Spray from ThisWorks over my pillow right before bed. It has a really calming effect as you lay down and breathe in the beautiful lavender scent.

Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion - Lush

Another product fave with the famous 'essential oil' smell, I love slathering this all over my arms and legs before bed and pretty much drenching myself in the stuff. Anything for a guarantee of a good night's sleep!

Reve De Miel Lip Balm - Nuxe

You can't neglect your lips when it comes to hydration. I love using this lip balm from Nuxe as an overnight moisturising balm for my lips, to ensure that they wake up plumped and unchapped.

What are some of the products you like to keep on your nightstand? I would love to see what products/ reading material you're all keeping on your nightstand, so please make sure you tag me in your pictures on Instagram!

Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Hand cream and lip balm is the only two things that I have by my night stand. I have my eye on that Nuxe lip balm since ages but always forgot to buy it, MUST REMEMBER the next time I see it.

  10. My nightstand actually holds various nail polishes, The Body Shop body butter thing in strawberry and paw-paw ointment for the lips. Pretty boring. I keep all the good stuff in the bathroom, far away from reach so I never end up being as good to my skin as I should. BTW I loved "a discovery of witches", well the start of the book; the end got weird and predictable. I haven't read the next one in the series, I think I've already guessed what's going to go down lol. Can you believe I've never tried any Lush products! I never get a proper chance to go into store and actually check them out.

  13. I have a feeling I follow too MUCH of a routine, I don't often try new skincare products though this post makes me feel as though I should as your skin is so gorgeous Anjelique, seriously! The Deep Sleep pillow spray by This Works sounds heavenly, I used to bring home the little bottles of their lavender pillow sprays from whenever travelling/staying in hotels - heavenly scents! :)

I absolutely love my pillow spray but I haven't tried much else from the brand so I'll need to get onto it asap! I think I need to find a hotel that provides ThisWorks minis...
