The Dry Shampoo Edit

Bonjour and Good Morning my wonderful friends!

Up until recently, dry shampoo had never really been a staple when it came to my haircare, but since I have really been putting in the effort to style it I have been finding the need to turn to dry shampoo in order to maintain it.

Now normally, I only wash my hair twice a week because I find that it doesn't get too oily thanks to my naturally curly, dry hair. However, when it gets to around the Day 3 mark, it can start to look a bit manky and in quite similar fashion to that of Severus Snape's.

This is where my dry shampoo addiction comes in.

My two favourite dry shampoos in haircare at the moment are the Batiste Floral and Flirty and the Polished London Bristol Bloom.* I think these brands are the best at really soaking up that oil as well as doing a great job of not leaving you with excessive amounts of grey-white patches of hair. I also tend to reach for floral, scented versions of the stuff because let's be honest, who doesn't want their hair to smell like a bouquet of flowers?

The one thing that really throws me off about these dry shampoo brands is that I'm yet to find one that's truly invisible in your hair. I have previously tried the Polished London  tinted version that they carry for brunettes and redheads, but I find that the actual formula  doesn't work as well as the original.

I will continue the search for my Holy Grail dry shampoo product, but I'm generally happy with these two ones I have on rotation at the moment.

If you guys have any recommendations of which one I should trial next, or some of your favourite dry shampoo brands, please let me know in the comments down below!

Your help is much appreciated!

  2. I received 3 deluxe samples of dry shampoo (Bastiste and Klorane) in my subscription boxes and I never finish any, I just don't like the feel of it on my hair. Maybe I'm using it wrong but it doesn't seems to do anything for my hair at all. :-/
