A Trip Down Memory Lane...

I have been lucky enough to travel around Europe on more than one occasion in my life and those experiences have left me with priceless knowledge and life experiences.

Growing up in Australia and feeling so far removed from the rest of the world has left me with a itch to scratch and began my love for travelling and exploring. If money wan't a part of the equation, I would pack up my things and leave tomorrow if I could, which is something I have contemplated on a fair few occasions!

Don't get me wrong, I do love my friends and family and I would miss them all terribly... but I've never felt 'at home' anywhere expect when I'm travelling.

Back on track... I was feeling a little nostalgic about a trip I took back towards the end of 2013 with my best friend, Sarah. It was the first time we had both been away from our families while travelling and it was seriously the time of our lives. I have picked some of my favourite pictures from the trip to share with you, which include snaps from London, Edinburgh, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam and Switzerland.

Edinburgh, Scotland.
The view from the top of Winter Wonderland, London.
Kicking up the leaves in Hyde Park, London.
Met my future Prince...and the in laws, London.
Pebbles on the Beach, Brighton.
I could just take up residence on the Pier, Brighton.
Trying my best to look Tres Chic, Paris.
Arc De Triomphe, Paris
The sun setting over the buildings, Venice.
The sun rising over the Alps, Switzerland.
Gingerbread houses, Switzerland.
Christmas time, Munich.
The time I managed to get everyone out of my picture, Amsterdam.

  1. Oh, Anjelique, get yourself over to the UK and stay here so we can (inevitably) become best friends! haha :) Your image of Switzerland is beautiful, I really, really miss Switzerland as I haven't visited 2 or 3 years now. It just HAS to be the most beautiful place on Earth!

  3. I've travelled to China, Indonesia (volcano climbing), Thailand, Singapore, Germany, Myanmar and now living in Canada. I foo hope to travel around Europe one day in the future, there's something about Europe that can't be found elsewhere.

Volcano climbing sounds so interesting and fun- I think I'll have to add that to my bucket list!
