A Mini Haul

It's Haul Time!

I can't resist a good sale, so when I was in the city getting my brows done the other day I dropped into Priceline to check out some of their sale stock. Rimmel was up for 50% off so naturally I treated myself. I also went into Daiso to pick up some sponge cleaner for my beauty blender but they were out of stock! :'( I still walked out the store with some new beauty purchases though- and for $2.80 a piece, how could I resist?

Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipsticks in '103' & '106'.

I seriously love the formula of these lipsticks and after having loved my '107' over and over again, I decided to try out some more shades in the range. '103' is a gorgeous salmon pink and '106' is a cool-tone raspberry red.

Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Nude

I have never been a fan of the 'white liner in the waterline' look and have been wanting to try this nude alternative for ages! It's a super creamy formula that you can use in the inner corner of your eyes and on the lower waterline to really brighten up your eye look. Perfect for those days when you hit snooze one too many times!

Essence Lip Liner in In The Nude

Do you see a theme here? I'm all about the nude lately, lips included! Okay, so this one wasn't on sale but for $2 I don't think you could go wrong. I have almost the entire shade range in these lipliners and the formula of these are fantastic!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara

This mascara is a new release by Rimmel, which I bought purely out of curiosity. It's a scented mascara that actually smells quite fresh and as someone who usually steers away from scented cosmetics, I don't mind it at all! I've included a close up of the wand as it really reminds me of my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. You can read my review on it here and compare for yourself. I wonder, do we have a possible dupe on our hands?

I also popped into Daiso and picked up some charcoal pore strips and an eyebrow stencil which I thought would be fun to play around with.

  1. I need Rimmel 106 in my life! OMG, how gorgeous is that shade?! And please do an in-depth review on that mascara, I've read mixed reviews on it so I'm hesitant to purchase.
