The Wednesday Edit: The Two-Minute Smoky Eye

Time is of the essence when it comes to my everyday makeup, I generally don't have the time nor patience to be fussing about getting my winged eyeliner looking just right or blending eyeshadows all morning. When I want a fool proof, long lasting eye look there are three products that I turn to. For everyday wear, I generally tend to stick to drugstore brands and products I trust, the last think I want is a smudgy eye running halfway down my cheek or my lipstick start to bleed!

Rest assured, the products I've mentioned here have withstood the test of time- literally! All of these products have passed quality control here at ANJELIQUE HQ and come highly recommended from my makeup collection to yours.

These three products will guarantee you saving time on your makeup in the morning before work, school or wherever you're headed off to so you can catch those ever important extra 'zzzzz…...'

For the lid: Using a fluffy brush and a cream shadow like this Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and on Bronze, sweep this all over the lid for that perfect bronzed eye. I prefer using synthetic brushes when working with cream products as they move with the product better, creating an even finish.

For the crease: Taking the same brush (or a clean one) swirl it into your favourite bronzer and start lightly buffing it into the crease. I like to use the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer, but you can use whatever you like! If you want, you can also place the bronzer along your lower lash line for a more defined look.

For eyeliner: Define the eyes with your favourite Gel Eyeliner Pencil, the one I'm using is by Essence and the formula is fantastic! Once you've lined your top lashes (and bottom if desired), take the same fluffy brush to blend out that line for a smokier look.

Add a slick of mascara and VoilĂ

It's that simple!

Now shave some time off your everyday makeup routines with this 3-Step Smokey Eye and have your eye makeup done in under two minutes- life is good!

I hope you guys and gals are having a jolly ol' week, Happy Hump Day!
