The Wednesday Edit: Top 5 Nail Picks for A/W '15

I'm so excited that Winter is finally approaching us here in the Southern Hemisphere, I'm all about rugging up and wearing 1012923764x layers in the cold Winter air and there's nothing that says 'Winter' to me more than a) Hot Chocolate and b) Dark nails.

Over the past few weeks I've been collecting polishes and I've finally settled on my top 5 favourite picks for this coming season. I have a mix of dark, moody colours as well as some 'wintery' pastels to set the tone for your 'winter-spiration'. ^_^

Rubi Nails - 'Grey' | $4.95

Grey tones are what I'm all about in Winter and this is no exception. It is what it says on the label, 'Grey' (Ha!) but it does give off a more of a green undertone. Can't wait to wear this one with a matching knit!

Sally Hansen Complete Manicure - 'Cafe Au Lait' | $14.95

I think I've spoken about this colour before, I'm in love with it! It's the perfect skin-like nude for me and although it's not a colour I would tend to gravitate towards, it does elongate the fingers and make you feel oh so chic!

OPI - 'Honk If You Love OPI' | $19.95

Honk, honk! I am a huge fan of OPI's darker colours, one of my favourites being Lincoln Park After Dark, but this one takes the cake for me! It's still quite dark but has a gorgeous purple/ berry undertone in the sun- just wowza!

Essie - 'Go Ginza' | $16.95

The newest addition to my collection, this pastel berry is your favourite white nail polish's cool older sister. Would totally rock alongside some distressed jeans and layered jewellery.

Essie - 'Mint Candy Apple' | $16.95

A tried and true favourite in every beauty bloggers collection, this minty green polish is set to go with any outfit no matter rain or shine.

What nail colours do you tend to reach for in the cooler months?
Do you prefer darks, brights or do you like to mix it up and keep people guessing?
