My Evening Pamper Routine

 Hiya friends!

Happy Easter to those celebrating this week, I hope you chocolate binged until you **almost felt sick!

I've really been wanting to do a routine of some kind for a while on the blog and now that time has finally come!

I like to pamper myself using a routine like this basically whenever I've got a spare few hours and really like to take time out for myself. Phone goes on silent, makeup off and nobody except me and a relaxing bath!

If I am wearing makeup I like to start by taking it off using my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water  and then go in for a deeper clean using my Clinique Take Off The Day Cleansing Balm.   (Review here) I then like to use a face mask for a really deep clean to get at those nasty impurities too, lately I've been loving this Active Charcoal Mask from Origins.

My skin is having a little freak out at the moment and I've been breaking out a lot so I've been reaching for this Ultra Rapid Action Gel Wash* from Clearasil which I've found has reduced my spots and used in conjunction with their Rapid Action Pimple Cream*  has totally improved my complexion in a matter of weeks! Yay for clear skin and deep cleansing!

To finish off my skincare regime I also like to use a de-puffing Eye Gel and a light hydration mask  like this The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask to ensure I wake up with skin as fresh as a daisy! ^_^

Topping off my pamper evening with a nice, relaxing bubble bath and a good old moisturising session. On occasions like a pamper evening, I like to reach for this Nuxe Body Oil as it always leaves my skin feeling fresh and not to mention, it smells like a dream!

I like to spend the rest of my evening doing pretty much nothing and just enjoying my 'me time' in which I usually end up catching up on Pretty Little Liars or The Mindy Project episodes or sometimes even taking the time to meditate or even do a bit of light stretching before bed as I find this definitely helps improve my quality of sleep.

Do you like to take the time to pamper yourself every once in a while?
What are some of the steps you like to include in your regime?

  6. The relaxing bubble bath sounds lovely and thanks for the reminder to try out Nuxe Body Oil! You do make me laugh, you look so chirpy in this photo haha. My pampering process usually involves a huge amount of moisturiser and candles - it's the massage motion that can be so calming :)

I think it's definitely the candles that really set the mood for me!
