I'm so excited to be doing a guest post for Anjelique!!

I'm Natalie and I blog over at Yours Truly, NY. Just like Anjelique, I'm from the land down under. I'm a lover of all things fashion and beauty related. I love tea also (and rice..dem carbs..).

It's officially now Autumn here in Australia (booo! buh bye summer!), it's time to change up our look and go to the dark side. I created this eye look, inspired by the autumn leaves. It's a neutral smokey eye that is wearable for day time paired with dark lips.
Without further ado, let's get started!

*Apologies that the eyeshadow colors in the photographs doesn't show up too well.. but, you get the idea!

1. The base for the face is already done. Then, you want to apply a taupe cream eyeshadow as a base to enhance the pigmentation of your powder shadows
2. To set the cream shadow, use a taupe powder shadow all over the lids.
3. For the center of your eye lids, use a shimmery dark orangey color. Pat it on to build the intensity of the color.
4. Now onto the crease, use a cranberry color on the outer 'V'.
5. Then, use the orangey shadow again and go over the center of the lids.
6. Using a neutral brown shade, blend the shadows out to make sure there aren't any harsh lines. Blend. Blend. Blend.
7. Time to define dem eyes with eyeliner. I did a subtle wing but do whatever your heart desires!
8. I then perked up my lashes with some mascara. If you need help in the lashes department, feel free to use false lashes. I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes with the Mary-Lou Manizer and define my bottom lash-line with a matte brown eyeshadow.
9. To finish off the look, pop on your favourite darkish red lippie.

Rimmel's Kate Moss 107 | Totally got this because the queen, Zoella wears it and I'm in love! It's the perfect shade of red for me- not too dark and not too bright.

Peripera Peri's Tint in Cherry | This is very similar to the Benetint by Benefit. I really like this for that natural flush of color on the cheeks, as if you have been playing in the snow (fake it till you make it?).

Voila! This is the completed look. I am happy with how this turned out. I had so much fun putting this together and sharing it with you. I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments and I hope to see you over on my blog.

Thank you, Anjelique for having me!!

Catch ya soon!
