DIY Halloween Wreath Decor | #Collaboween

The spookiest time of the year has finally arrived and what better way to get into the Halloween spirit than decorating? I'm collaborating with the gorgeous A Ginger Blondie for this post, so make sure you go and check out what DIY Decorations she has come up with too!
You can keep up to date with all bloggers who are participating in #Collaboween via Twitter, using the hashtag.

Now, onto the decorating!

As you can tell by the title of this post, we're going to pimp up your front door, Halloween style, keep on reading to find out how!

What You Will Need:

- Wreath
- Black spray paint
- Glitter -->> I used a combination of black, orange and purple
- Ribbon
- Craft glue/ Hot glue gun
- Cotton wool
- Spooky decorations!

I purchased a blank Christmas wreath and coated it in a matte black spray paint to give it that spooky vibe and sprinkled the glitter combination while the paint was still wet. Leave to dry for a couple of hours.

Now you can get started on glitterfying your spooky decor! I decided to coat the Jack 'O Lanterns with black glitter and hot glued the cotton wool 'cobwebs' to the spiders.

Once the wreath is dry and prep for the decorations are done, the fun begins!

Try and arrange how you want things to sit on your wreath before you start gluing it down. Once you're happy with how it looks, get busy with that glue gun!

Once everything is glued down, measure up how much ribbon you will need to hang your wreath on your front door and viola!

Now sit back and admire your handiwork as you get into the festive Halloween spirit!
